Common questions

How do I delete my account?

You can permanently delete your account and all of your data from inside the app:

  1. Open the ⋯ menu in the top-right of the app.
  2. Tap Account.
  3. Scroll to the Delete account section.
  4. Tap Delete account, type your screen name to confirm, and confirm again.

This permanently erases your profile, messages, buddies, and sign-in. It cannot be undone.

How do I reset my password?

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and follow the steps to receive a reset link at the email on your account.

How do I block or report someone?

Long-press any direct message or room message to Report it, or to Block the sender. A user's profile also exposes Block and Report. Blocking is enforced on our servers.

Is H.I.M. a dating or hookup app?

No. H.I.M. is built for friendship and conversation — there is no swiping and no proximity matching.

Who can use H.I.M.?

H.I.M. is for adults 18 and older.
